Lots O' Parties this time of Year, and We Are Here to Feed the People!

With these Job Duties, I miss the girly things in life like the James Perse Sample Sale (going on through the weekend at Siren Studios, ladies!!), but I do NOT miss Air Talk on KPCC 89.3 FM where Larry Mantle spoke about the risks of drinking at your company holiday party.

We were so honored to be the caterers for KPCC's holiday party this year, and therefore, coincidentally, I can personally attest that there were indeed no holiday drinking misdeanors going on there, just like Larry Mantle professed.

Lots of eating though!

Silverlake Wine Sunday Tasting Blowout 2009

WOW-za!!! We have been sooooo busy cookin up parties for some super fabulous people that I have let three Silverlake Wine Tastings skip by without a word. So allow me to sum-up: We joined forces back in early November with Liocco Wines (we are such fans!!!) where Matt roasted a

Whole Sturgeon and I made an Apple Trifle. We bought every wine served that day and loved them all. Yes. They are gone already.

A couple Sundays later we were back, and Cake Monkey was in the house (packed in at 100+). They helped us out in the front row (Lovely Lisa) and back with the fire (Excellent Elizabeth). I gave our fabulous friend Ben my camera (he is an expert in his field) and he did the snapping on this day where Matt roasted a Whole Suckling Pig that he aquired from a local organic farm.

And for the last tasting of the year, champagne was served and so was Turducken!! It was the biggest Sunday Tasting at Silverlake Wine with a bunch of new faces. We had so much fun cooking for everyone, especially the little ones!
